This is my new website and first blog style posting- so I think best to start with introducing myself and what it’s all about!
Any of you guys hopping on from Instagram will know showing pictures of myself is something I really struggle with and would always rather post about creatures or creations.
I’m Rachel aka Rew, I live on our tiny small holding here in the Hereford marches / Welsh boarder, in the U.K.
I’m a mum to three busy children, carer of a pack of crazy dogs, numerous sheep, chickens, ducks, geese and our much loved geriatric pig.
We grow what we can, are always up for learning new crafts and adore the old traditions.
Our children are at a Steiner school near by .. although currently homeschooled like the rest of the U.K. The Steiner ethos is fascinating to us and we find it helps to follow that style of rhythm to life, so there is a Steiner vibe to the blogs i will write.
Both trained as artists, myself and my partner Matt from http://www.sanderson-sculpture.com are equally distracted by planting trees, exploring nature, gardening, cooking, oh and of course parenting as best we can…and also being immersed in our projects in the studios.
What this blog about?
It’s kinda a busy little blog of all the things we get up too.. and a shop window to the creations I make along the way.
